On the order of Michael Gove, schools are being sent copies of the 1611 King James bible. However, this is a filleted version of the text to suit
the Protestant theological position of the early seventeenth century. The schools should have been issued with the Douai-Rheims version issued by Bishop Challoner in 1752. This includes all the books.
